Biodegradable glitter is more than just a business, at Glitterazzi we want to create a movement. Like biodegradable plastics, glitter alternatives are not all made equal. Misleading and confusing information on what’s biodegradable vs degradable can be confusing for consumers who want to make an eco-friendly choice. Not to mention greenwashing, with companies claiming bio when it’s simply just not.

That's why Glitterazzi only uses glitter made from a special form of eucalyptus cellulose rather than polyester. It is the only glitter available on the market that is proven independently to degrade into harmless substances in the natural environment. It's not only biodegradable but also compostable.

We try to do everything as sustainably and as environmentally thoughtfully as possible. We limit the plastic in our packaging and select packaging that can be reused. “We try to recycle, reuse and repurpose everything, especially when it comes to packing our customer's orders. If you order from us it will likely come in a recycled box or salvage present wrapping because glitter should never be litter.
